We get 2-3 ECU's in at our company EVERY week without fail from customers with mercedes mostly suffering from missfire on 2 cylinders where the coil packs have packed up.

A few customers in the past have come to us saying they were from the owners club for Mercedes and were told to buy new ecu units.

Well we're here now to say you don't need to spend £1200 on a new unit. We will happily remanufacture your existing unit at a fraction of that price AND issue you a full 12 months warranty.

Most common part numbers to go wrong are the following bosch ones:
0261 200 612 & 0261 200 614

But we also get all the VDO units in as well and others.

So, next time you hear of someone with something that sounds like an ecu problem, tell them to do a search on ECU Repairs.. we come up in Google and the best part of sending the unit for repairs to us is, it doesn't need recoding or reprogramming.. it's a simple Plug 'N Play procedure :)

We also do a lot of other work but I don't want to hang around spamming. If somebody could direct me to the administrators of this board to discuss a possible partnership, I would be most interested..

Like I said, we found this forum through your very own forum users, coming to us with their problems.. we thought we might as well just come to you guys with our solutions :)

Best Wishes to everyone,
Jay

Yeah I can see your post in another thread, thank you :)

We're currently working to start on gearbox ecu's as we've found there is no other competitor in this market across the entire country!

The A-Class also have a lot of issues with their ecu + built on air mass units in one, we have to keep these in stock because of the such high demand.

I'd love to keep a few of the merc ecu's in stock but they're impossible to get hold of second hand.

I have one some where from a 104 , I Think with one power device down, its untouched apart from the bottom being removed

I will see if i can find it.

SAMs are another thing, the 203 SAMs (front) are impossible to dismantle as there are 80 odd pins to de solder to get the board out

lol I agree on that, complete nightmare and I believe we charge something like 420 to do one of them.. would rather not touch them lol but we get the enquiries and I never really turn work away.

We even do the potted ecu's!

The EZL's I knew the Bosch rep based in Denham, the manufacturing cost was £4 and ended up selling for some £1200

Yeah that's true!
It's ridiculous to be honest with you. And they make it in such a way to try and keep people like us from repairing them. Like the 0261 200 612/614 units (small black unit with the plug on top).. petrol bosch ones.. they're like completely potted back to front in hope that we won't get in to them and repair them.

Typical sly moves to boost their own pockets, shame it never works.. we soon find ways round ;)

Just not fair because a lot of people suffer paying the full price not finding companies that can do it.
