If there is anyone who can help on this.. Vaneo 1.6 Petrol Automatic. Chassis 414700.

We have had this for some time, the fault originally was that it would go into limp mode using the accelerator but drive ok on the cruise control. This degenerated to not being able to drive on the cruise and although it starts and runs with no problem as soon as you apply any throttle it goes into limp showing the esp and bas lights.

Accelerator sender and brake switch have been replaced and all the immediate things like earthing points, bulbs, relays, fuses, connectors ,etc seem to be ok.

Our win-star flags up fault code P0221-12 ecm control module with throttle valve N/3/18 int fault, and
PO221-8 ecm control module with throttle valve n3/18 internal fault.

Now we have mercedes Wis and it does seem to suggest that the cruise control module is a seperate entitiy to the ecu which like the a-140 is a combined ecu air mass arrangement. It is of course not the same as the a-140.

Our win-star does not identify or interrogate a cruise control module as a seperate items and the above fault codes are coming from the ecu.. wis of course identifies the ecu as N3/5

The ecu is a VDO part number 1661 4118 25.

Without wishing to be greedy three questions ..

One ,, would anyone know if the cruise control module is combined within the ecu or seperate .

And the second of course is if it is seperate any idea where we might find it .

A third question is we nor autodata or anywhere else we can think of looking have a pin code for the ecu plug if anyone can oblige on that too not only would I be very pleased I will gain some floor space.

Many thanks Robert.
