cruise control problem

just wondering if any one can help me out at all just got a clk 430 W208 and the crusie isnt working when i activate it it comes up speedtronic return to work shop? is this due to it having 19 inch wheels? i am changing the wheels to 18 inch wheels next week can any one advise me on what to do or how to resolve this problem or any one know any one that can fix it for me with out going to mercdes them selves

If all the rims are the same size - they can be eliminated.

HOWEVER, if your TYRE sizes are different, the sensors will 'think' that one, or more, of your tyres are 'loosing grip' and automatically dis-engage the cruise control. It's all to do with the rolling diameter of different sized tyres.
