Hi,
I own a e320cdi which has developed a fault with the cc actuation.
:-? The cc system will not activate after initial start-up. The puzzling part of the problem is that the cc system will activate after a re-start. I quite frequently
make a 100 mile motorway journey and find that the cc will not set. On the return journey the same day the cc for some reason will set and behaves itself perfecly. I have 2 weeks warranty remaining on the vehicle and I would like to resolve this problem befoer this expires.
The warranty is not MB so I would like to identify the likely problem before talking to the insurer.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem?
On a brighter note the car is brilliant. I owned a 300TE for 12 years and the petrol consumption was starting to bite at 23-27 a gallon. The 320 deisel has stunning power when required and averages 32-40 a gallon. No doubt I'll need the saving on fuel to pay for merc parts.
