Hey people !

Hopefully a easy one picked up my car the other day but I'm having difficulty activating my cruise control (CLC 180K)

I keep activating the speed limit by accident:Oops: in my defensive first merc and first car I have ever owned with cruise control

Thanks in advance Antony

The end knob must be out, and just lift the stalk, thats all you need do, with the end knob pushed in it is the limiter, "out" the CC

Check the orange light on the stalk. lit is speed limiter, off is cruise. Push in the end of the stalk until the light goes out and you'll have cruise.

Don't push the stalk in ..... Just lift the stalk or lower it to set the speed..... To activate it just flick it up as if you are indicating .... That sets its ... Then you can move up/down to suit your speed... When you brake it disengages and you need to set it again by flicking the stalk up....

Easy peasy...

2005 CL500.
You can even adjust your speed with the CC stalk, hold it up to increase speed, hold it down to decrease. Push it away from you to cancel it (or just touch the brake pedal), and pull towards you to resume CC if previously cancelled.
