i shall be in the Borrowdale hotel from the 18th June for a week. just to annoy them. might get someone to drive me round and spy out the place.

and should anyone wish to pay a visit to the borrowdale hotel and cheer up our broken legged friend, ie, me. I will be sat in the garden no doubt writing my memoirs. so thats 2 birds, 1 stone....i am just so efficient

Good to see that May Pole dancing is still being practised. I hate to see these old traditions dieing out, even though this seems to be happening in August this time.

I'm up for a trip to Cumbria, will there be any beer there? It's probably one of the best get together ideas that has been suggestedso far.

....so if I type Erotica into Google, will I be enlightened as to where this benighted country actually is. Do they have a despotic leader who rules with a rod of iron? Do their people need liberating. Should they be casting off their shackles? Will they adopt the "one member, one vote" ideology. Will they rise up if we show enough interest in them?

Seriously though, perhaps there's a bit too much "babe"-type stuff for us to endorse it officially. Aren't we supposed to be fluffy and cuddly as an association, and not officially "laddish".

the world was created by God for mercedes owners to populate. therefore we should all turn up and sho these young wanna be merc owners what life is really about. some will be converted to real people...others will not, but they will be the dying breed as they buy Lexi and Beemers etc!

It seems, at the moment I have to work the weekend in August. must look into falling over again......

I have thought of something else too. these girls on poles will no doubt be dancing with the street urchins and chavs looking on....so they will see us at the back discussing cars and stuff and think, they are decent people, in our break, lets go talk to them. and the chavs etc will look on at us and think, i need to buy a merc if thats the kind of girl it gets us....and when you consider Pole dancers earn around £750 a day, they could buy a merc or 2 as well.



maybe merc should sponsers us to go?

dont think i will go there..been once.. they are looking for another establishment at the mo too.

They do nice meals in the borrowdale but not sure what the beer is like. I forgot. was about 4 years ago since i last went. still i shall let you know when i get back. mite hobble round Derwentwater....or at least get the boat round the lake anyway.

they have re-arranged the rooms so i can have a ground floor one..isnt that nice of them?

for that kind of money, I'll consider pole dancing. I haven't quite got the physique that some of these ethnic dancing types have, but I'm sure my enthusiasm will be enough. Do they have their own accordionist.

Not sure. my one brush with a pole dancer was in Leicester square. I had seated myself opposite the Odeon west, whilst waiting for a relation to arrive. I had about 2 hours to kill. nice day. sat there and watched the world go round. pleasent and attractive young lady sat on the same bench. after a few mins she was curious to know what i was doing. so the conversation ended up with what she did. never met a pole dancer before. she was getting some fresh air before the clubs opened. told me they can earn well over £750 a day in some clubs and tips on top. she only did 2 days a week.

then, as luck wud have it, the relation arrived, My niece (12 at the time), so i had to go having not exchanged numbers etc into a barrage of who's that, what were you doing talking to her, is she your girlfriend and so on.....
