DAB Radio installation question

I have just installed a Baupunkt DAB radio in my W210 (replacing the Audio 10 unit). All works fine, except the steering wheel controls and dash display do not work. Are there any adapters which would allow the dash display and controls to work with this head-unit?

I have had a look on the internet and spoken to a car radio fitting centre, however, nobody seems to be able to help. My last hope is that Malcome has a solution
