DAB

HELLO.
im looking for info on how to install dab on my w204 2012.
i have nav,usb,bluetooth etc but no dab which i really miss from my last car
i have seen on the bay the dab units forsale circa £90 but unsure as to what i need to complete the task.
has anyone done this or could advise whats needed

these days various modules can be found on eBay secondhand quite easily

these ones go round the car via the fibre optic network, the menus will likely be in the headunit but not enabled and the power for the device would also be required as you don't get any spare wires waiting for things to be plugged into on a german car.

this is much cheaper and looks more like the one I'd expect

this module below doesn't do the later DAB+, according to this advert (one of two both saying it fits the w204) is the same module as a 221 (which surprises me)

antenna wise 15 quid ones behind the bumper work much better than the ones fitted to a Mercedes at the factory
