Damp boot

My 1996 SLK boot lid always seems to have a lot of condensation on the inside of it. Does anybody else have this problem? and is there anyway of stopping it. I have renewed the boot seals.

Check the drainage slots on either side of the boot when open are not blocked

Done that, any other ideas?
