damp squib

evnin' all, i have '78 350 slc and the passenger footwell on drivers side [its LHD] is constantly getting wet. I have tried to find out where its coming from by the soaking of doors and windows but it doesnt seem to be this as the carpet surrounding the damp area stays dry,i also cant see anything amiss under the car.I have also tried witchcraft and swearing but again without success.. however i have heard that this type suffers from a leaking heater cover,is this a possiblity and has anyone else encountered this?

Hello and welcome, your trouble could well be a blocked drain in the air intake, you must take of the cover and and filter and clear the drain holes in the bottom of the box
