If the parking mode is important to you, steer clear of Nextbase 512GW. They've tampered with the shock sensitivity over previous models and so even the lightest of breezes triggers it, thus filling up your memory card with locked footage of bu55er all, and flattening your battery.

The 312 was much better, and as far as I can tell, you only lose the WiFi function. (Which is a ball-ache to use anyway).

Imaging & editing software seems pretty good / user-friendly too.

I had Thinkware F700 I think. (front and rear). It was great and I would have again, but think things might have moved on from 2 years ago. I'm about to get them done on my new car, so will post here as to what my local installer advises.

i have the thinkwaew U1000 not cheap @£430 front & rear but 4K video front 2K rear & its another £80 for the sonar if you want the motion for long periods oh and another £180 for a battery back up thing took me 2hrs to fit
