Dash lighting/display

2nd bone question(s) of the morning - forgive me!!

1. Should the control for turning the lights on have a back-light? I can't see mine in the dark.

2. Can anything be done about missing LED from the clock/ODO? Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it's not.

1. No, the lighting switch is not backlit, stupid omission but you learn to find it soon enough.
2. Possibly a bad connection in the multiplug behind the instrument panel, do a search for " instrument panel " ,many previous posts about problems here.
Suggest you put up some details of your car so we know what we're dealing with.
