Can anyone help please. I have a 1993 280te manual with climate control.
Just fitted new fuel tank and car running great. Turned on headlights couple of days later driving down road then suddenly all lights on dash (including electric windows in centre console and sunroof switch) excluding instrument cluster and cigarette light have gone off. Every light works outside the car and no fuses in the fuse box have gone as I have replaced them for good measure....

Please assist

You have a fuse young man on the rear of the instrument cluster.

99% of the time panel light failure is cured by winding the dash lamp dimmer back & forth a few times to "friction clean" the pot

The instrument cluster comes out easily with a pair of MB Instrument Cluster Removal tools. Good luck doing it without them!

Locating the panel lights dimmer is left as an exercise for the reader...
