Wow.. Is yours a manual with skinny tyres? 52mpg sems to be my average on a run.

No, 400/500 mls of toll or good dual carriageway, but I have removed the lead from my right boot.
Average speed was around. 52 mph if I remember correctly!

Given the variables, no calculation to 1/10 of a mpg can be accurate.

Your right of course, but it gives you a boost, willing it to break the 70 mpg, I filled up in Spain just South of the Somport tunnel, fueL light came on inCalais Port area

Driving back from Beni, 1200 Mls, my 204 went down to 68.7 most dissapointed as for the first 250-300 it was 70.2mpg
For over 40 years I was a white van man, never had to pay for fuel, having retired and back in the real world, and paying, I am now Mr Ecconomy

I’ve also been known to get 100mpg + but there’s little fun in that .....
