I am about to start using the Dashcam option and wondered if anyone can confirm if the 'loop' is merely dependant on the size of the USB or if it is fixed to a certain length of time by MB?

It’s the total size of your memory.

You can usually select how long you want each clips to be such as 3 min, 5 min, 10 mins etc. The dash cam will then records and once the memory capacity is reached, it will overwrite from the oldest clip.
