Dashlights - Not Working

I have a Merc 300CE W124

I've checked the fusses there all ok, will I have to open up the dash and check the wires?

First check that the dimmer switch has not been turned fully down before assuming you have a problem.If that is not the cause I think there is a fuse on the back of the instrument panel which may have blown, you will have to pull the panel out to check it

I've checked the fuse boxs under the hood, nothing wrong there.

The dimmer switch is the same one that zeros the trip mileomer btw! Turn it to the right to brighten!

I'm not sure where the dimmer switch is on your car but on my W202 it is a rotary switch sticking through the glass below the speedo,your's may be similar.
