daytime running lights

I have just purchased a 2005 Sprinter Campervan from the USA. Can anyone tell me how to activate the daytime running lights. These are mandatory on ALL newer vehicles used in Canada. Would it be a computer programing adjustment or relay installation or what??? Help please!!!

Hi & Welcome,

I do not know about your van, however the option is in the convenience menu on my dashboard. So you may have something similar, if you don't get an answer (daytime running lights not mandatory over here in the UK) then I would ask at your dealership, it may require a little setting up on the diagnostic machine to come on automatically.

A sprinter may require the running lamp relay to be fitted, its an easy mod and one to do if you need it

We are in Summerland, BC. Okanagan Valley. Very nice!!!
I am in the process of importing this unit, so I have not actually seen it yet. Bought it on the internet from Texas. VERY small world now.
Will keep posted when I find out how to hookup the lights

I am sure that all sprinters are wired for this, and as I said earlier just plug in the relay if it is not
