Having just watched the Wheeler dealers E55 buddy , I’m very jealous of that lovely looking car

My wife helped me install my car spoiler this morning. While we were doing it (installing the spoiler ), I mentioned that I was thinking of removing the "SL400" badge.......my feedback was ....."then you will be just like those people that you scoff at for de-badging entry level cars..." .

But, in this instance, she is 100% correct! However, I'm 80% there - the rear look unbalanced with SL 400 on one side and nothing on the other and I think it will look a lot nicer without it.

I never thought I could drive the same car for 10 years.....but, if we'd not left Oz, my SLK would have been a keeper and the SL looks to be the same....(if I live that long ).

It looks much better smooth, the previous owner of mine asked the MB garage to do this before he bought it from them. I have since removed the plastic chrome effect trim from all doors!!
