Delivery Drivers

So based on some of the good comments on here I bought a new Nilfisk Pressure washer from Costco the 180-10.

The delivery company Kinetic Logistics say I have it and I signed for it........... hmm.

The image is certainly my house the signature nothing like.

I have some cctv and particularly interesting a dashcam video showing me being dropped off miles away at the alleged time.

My phone records show I didn't get the pre-delivery call as well.

Why in these electronic days do people make up such tosh?

Cos the companies are taking the pee out of the drivers.

At least that's what I'm led to believe.
I get deliveries from a regular 'particular company' driver.
Yesterday he dropped off a delivery that 'the company' informed me they had days ago.
The same company have another parcel from a couple of days ago.
I mentioned it in passing.
"Chaos, they're taking deliveries they can't handle. The depot is overflowing and a lot of parcels are split and damaged..
We've one driver that's close to a breakdown because they're telling him to deliver too much stuff.
We've customers that have been told to stick 3Lg labels on their parcels and I weighed one at 15, I've stopped weighing them, it's pointless."

I often find parcels at the side of the house. I know the driver hasn't attempted to get me to the door to accept. I guess they choose the fastest way.
Drop it on the doorstep, photo, gone to the next.

I find Hermes the best nowadays the tracking is superb and totally reliable with a two hour slot during which our friendly lady from the local parcel shop delivers. I’ve sent a few parcels with them this year and again excellent service particularly like the self service label machine which print puts out the recipients details in the shop.

Never heard of Kinetic Logistics but poor show.

As an aside my wife had a plant delivered as a present from M&S the other day by Yodel and guess what the fragile contents were ruined - my real surprise was that M&S used them

Well as an update the helpful woman at Costco managed to make contact with Kinetic Logistics and


the signed for bit is nonsense it's still on the driver's van.

Why the "untruths" I don't know and they will attempt to deliver again hopefully this time they will ring and confirm as promised.

Everyone's time was wasted.
