Generally I dont believe in surveys but JD Power makes for some interesting reading!
Mercedes are two rankings down below the Industrial Average for vehicle dependability (faults per 100 vehicles over 3 years), Lexus the most dependable for 14th year running! Here is the report: http://www.jdpower.com/corporate/news/releases/pressrelease.aspx?ID=2008115
In summary, Lexus have 120 faults per 100 vehicles, Mercedes have 215, Industrial Average is 206!
