190 speedo issue

the speedo on my 190 works but the numbers of miles im racking up dosent move or the bottom 1 when ive set it to zeros why

lemme guess - - yr always going backwards everywhere..?

seriously maybe the reset doesnt reengage the gears properly.... av a wiggle and see if it gets better...

trip meter

Apparently - so I was told that if you reset the trip meter while the car is in motion you will wreck the gearing in the speedo head, needs new speedo head - same as mine , same problem, same car, 190E if you do find a cure I would be intrested to know, alternatively send the speedo head off to J D O instrument repairs Tel:01535 662701 I'm told that they are very good and prices are resonable.
