Detailing product recommendations

Hi, I am looking at trying new detailing products and thinking of trying Auto Glanz. Anyone else tried this brand? If not wants do you use please ?

Hi and welcome to the forum, I don't do detailing either, I just wash and polish. Gets dirty too quickly to faff around detailing. If it's any help I use Bilt Hamber Speed Wax as a polish which I believe quite a few on here do as well. It was and still is voted best by Auto Express

What are you looking for from a new product or brand?
What products do you currently use and where do you feel they fall short?

All I will say, having done this for 20 years and gone through more products and brands than I can remember and spent in excess of 10's of thousands of pounds, trying to find the best and just giving stuff a try, it disgusts me! There are more crap/pointless products in the detailing world than good ones, no matter what the marketing blurb says and the inexperienced social media vlogger whose been brain washed by the detailing marketing machine.

If you can list what you use that you think could be improved, then we can pitch in.

I'm afraid the market is awash with the latest best thing due to some pretty underhand marketing techniques, I'd suggest you go for long established brands or those offered by reputable resellers. Much of whats new is just the same stuff in a different bottle, which is perhaps unwise to use on your pride and joy.

Hi Matt,I know everyone has their own recommendations,but I'm a lover of the Meguiars range of products.They have a very comprehensive range and the results from their products are excellent.

A billion and one threads on this.
Mine are:
Shampoo - McGuires gold class, Polish Autoglym super resin, Wax - autoglm extra gloss protection.
Microfibre roll cloth from wilkinsons.
Nice days work.
Dont just polish and think thats enough. Waxing after is a whole new world of shiny car porn.
