A young lad around the corner is often cleaning one of the cars of their very expensive fleet of cars ... very fast Audis, Jaags etc & a Escort Cossie tucked up in the garage .... anyway, there were unknown things under the wheels. they stop the hose pipe snagging under the wheels as you walk around the car with the hose pipe!
Obviously they're something that every car owner needs!

Mine would snag on the hose and end up scattered to the four winds whilst I cleaned, sorry detailed the car.
Perhaps house cleaners should similarly upgrade themselves and become house detailers.
Is it because its men cleaning things that they feel the need to make out cleaning cars is somehow different.

Should I advertise for a domiciliary detailer?

I just use anti kink hoses and then put one bucket at the front of the car and one at the rear, to act as an hose anti tangling feature - been working great for the past 10 years.

I ditched the traditional 2 bucket method years ago (after a decade with it)! Only use for them now is 1 bucket for wheels and and 1 bucket for dropping cleaned mitt(s) into whilst rinsing down the car.

Washing a mitt out frequently with the hose gun visually cleans the mitts (whereas as 2BM did not) and also when I tested it back to back, little to no particles were left in the clean bucket (whereas lots float around with the 2BM, only to be picked back up by it......).

OK, so despite my general disgust at the detailing industry conning its customer with ever pointless and under performing products (with the exception of a few), I had some reward points to use up so hesitantly bought 2 packs of 4 of these detail guardz.

They secure well under the tyres and actually do work, I had not one issue of a snagging hose or pressure washer line over washing 4 cars. So this product is simple but, effective. It also looks like its not going to be fragile either so, overall, a bit pricey for what it is but, it works.

Not a fan of gimmick type products to be honest. My Karcher lance/hose is long enough so I can position the Karcher in such a way the hose doesnt tangle and I can access all areas, but then again I have a huge drive to facilitate.
