Hi all,
I'm having trouble finding a diagnostic tool to connect to systems on my W202 C250 TD (1997 early facelift).
I was told icarsoft mbv2.0 would do it so I bought a genuine one and the red 38 pin adapter and it will read and clear most codes on most systems except the ECU and ABS/ASR/BAS... so basically its fairly useless as these in my experience are the systems you most often need to read.
Ive started a return for this scanner now as it won't read these systems on either of my 250 TDs.
I've had success with a local garage who used their Autel scanner, that seemed to be able to read and clear all systems. maybe I should look for an autel scanner?
Obviously there's STAR but that is surely going to be big bigs even for a copy.
Any ideas?
I'm on a w202 group on faceache and everyone on there raves about the icarsoft mb scanners with the 38 pin adapter. I had no luck though.
Thanks in advance
