Diagnostics for 2001 C220 CDi?

I would be really grateful if someone could tell me if there is a reasonably priced (say under £200) diagnostic device available that will plug into the 16-pin socket on a 2001 C220 CDi. I spoke to the suppliers of the Autoxray and they are not aware of any that will fit this model but suggested I tried the forums.

You do need at minimum an HHT test set, you could always sell the car and buy one

Thanks for your suggestion. I've tried eBay but I can't find anything that's suitable for a C class diesel of this age. Several vendors have cheap diagnostic units for petrol cars of 2001 but not Mercedes diesels.
