I've seen a beauty like that in black.

Couple of years or so ago in Stoke on Trent. The poor owner had just left a roundabout and had a nasty head on prang with another car.

Great pity, the car was as lovely as the one in the pics.
Strange thing though, only the pasenger airbag had detonated. I've always wondered if it was repairable.

I think the prettiest 124 convert i've ever seen was in a very dark blue, possibly blue/black with matching roof, and fully skirted with AMG split rims.....scorching looker.
I think it had cream leather in contrast though, lovely combination to me.
Not a great fan of black leather meself, as it doesn't do the beauty of the wood justice.

not a chance

ill take that beauty with me to my grave (actually id prefer to be cremated)

she has taken it to dealers and the most she was offerd was £7k !

she wants £11k

i hope to sell one or both of mine and slip her £9k - £9,500

id cry if she sold it elsewhere

and it might even be a 97 not a 96

If you get that car GFP, i'll have to get my tweeds out again to match my green complexion.

You've described the perfect 124 convert.

My coupe is P and thats 96 by the way.

I hope those dealers get 4 x punctures each on the way to somewhere important, i do hope that was straight purchase and not trade in prices, if trade in, they should be flogged bare arsed.
I should imagine its worth what she's asking, you won't find many of those about, seem to be plenty of 220's but very few nicely coloured 320's, blue/black and cream, very sexy.

If you want to be cremated that's fine by me. Just don't take that car there!

£7k is ridiculous, depending on condition a dealer would put that on the forecourt for 12+.

If for some reason you don't buy it, let me know. :)

i wa sin my mates clk 2000 the other week and when the roof comes up you have to turn a handle to lock in place just above rear view mirror

my mates 1999 bmw 328 convertible locks its self

his old escort cabriolet used to have 2 hooks that needed hooking into the windscreen pillar then pulling down to close roof

how does the w124 convertibles roof lock in place?
