I previously posted a q re my e320 cdi W210 (2001). It's definitely leaking air. have had a diesel garage look at it and it's not the obvious in terms of the fuel pipes. The guy there was doing me favour and so didn't spend too much time but could not find anything obvious but suggested pump o ring common rail "sumthing sumthing" as options.
I asked the question if it is sucking in air (when parked ovenight and nose up) it must be leaking when in use. Following my basic logic...look for the proverbial wet patch. Garage said just because it leaked and vacuumed it would not necessarily leak out diesel ?!?
Parrot of Doom and others all provide great advice on my orginal posting but really would appreciate any feedback on whether a non-leaking "leak" is real or is the garage yanking my chain because they cant be bothered with the job.
I really am pulling my hair out on this one and desprately need help
