Diesel injectors

Hi everyone, please I need assistance with my Merc C220 CDi 2011 model (W204) sedan.

I was a bit dumb, I removed my diesel injectors to be unblocked and serviced. However, I forgot to to mark them so that I re-insert them to correct cylinders. Will this have an impact starting the car? If so, how do I figure out which injector came what cylinder? Again, do I need to code the injectors once I put them back?

that's a school boy error pal , should always mark them with they are coded to the car or not ! anyway its done , id say they will need to be recoded but I'm sure someone will be along shortly to confirm that pal

Yep, they’re coded per cylinder.

Just a general question, would I be required to re-code all the electronic replacements e.g. glowplugs, crankshaft sensor etc?

As above just the injectors, it will run but like a pig until then

Make sure to use new seating washers and bolts on injectors when refitting Alexion.

Generally I have found that the map in the ecm will run them fine but not always at an optimum setting one will get from coding.
Tho I have not done this with Benz. Schoolboy error as above. But I would try them. If was me.

My replacement injectors run fairly sweet before I coded them to the vehicle, in honesty you would be hard pressed to pick out the before and after difference just ticking over in the garage but not all behave like that I'm sure
