diesel leaking

my husbands mercedes c220 cdi 20002 coupe keeps leaking diesel he as replaced fuel pipes but still keeps leaking out from under the bonnet any answers please.he loves the car but not the niggly little faults

I have had situations in the past that the fuel pump on the front of the engine leaks sometimes, so may need to replace it. They are expensive to buy but I saw a cheap one on ebay.

Have you checked all your pipes?

Where about abouts is the leak, is it from the front, side or back of the engine?

Common point of derv leak is the bleed vavle, on top of the engine next to the fuel rail, Made with a white plug, new ones now black!

all diesel pipes have been replaced,diesel leak seems to be when cold,when warmed up appears to stop.it appears to be coming from back of diesel pump on front of the engine?

anyone tell me where we can get another diesel pump from either new or second hand

Correct terminology is either the high or low pressure pump. The high pressure pump is reasonably large and would fit into your hand. The low pressure pump is about the size of a 20 cigarette pack. Hope this helps.
