I have A170cdi, recently it smells of diesel inside the car. Is it pollen/cabin filter
that needs changing? Is it easy and where is it located?

Sounds like you might have a leak, might be worth getting that checked first.

Do I have to change the injector seals? I had similar problem with my E class, but the smell was very strong.

Leaking injector seals would give a more gassy, exhaust like smell, as the diesel is being burnt...

And leaky injector/rail hoses/connections can give a raw diesel smell.

You should take a quick look for leaks at the top of the engine first. ie the polen filter isn't gonna do jack if you have a leak, there should be no diesel smell in the cabin period, with or without a pollen filter..

I know the A class petrol have problems with petrol leaks at the hose clips as I done many repairs, do the diesels also suffer from this.

Not sure I'd say "suffer", but it has happened on CDI's in general to others who have posted. eg. there are recent threads about...
1. The plastic test point connection type thing up there leaking.
2. The plastic leak off pipes can get old and brittle and leak.
3. The fuel pump can leak.
4. A cracked injector can leak.

These can cause a pool of diesel to sit up on top of the engine and then the fumes get sucked into the air air vents and into the cabin.

The main problem that the CDIs do suffer from is the injector seals can allow combustion blow-by to escape, as was pointed out before, this has a different smell to the raw diesel leaks above.

Hi have similar smell, when driving slow.
I can not be sure it is oil burnt or diesel (similar to exhaust fume).

Injector leaking would cause some residues accumulation on the the engine right?
