Diesel white smog - Diesel engines

I have two 1981 300 SD and recentely I have seen white smog. The oil level is OK, compression is fine, but I still have white smog. Did someone now what's wrong?

The modulating valve on the side of the gear box is the first thing I would check. If you pull of the vacuum pipe and check for any gearbox fluid leaking from it. And check if it clears. Note it will take some time for the oil to clear.
