Diff oil W220 SClass

Hi All

A couple of quick questions.....

1 Where is the filling point on a 2000 W220 S320 LWB, for the rear diff?

2 What tool do I need to remove it?

Hi there,

14mm allen key screw mid way up the left side of the diff is the filler hole.
The lower screw on the right is the drain.

Merc tool is a spanner with a 14mm allen key end, but any allen key tool should do.

The oil is standard ep80/90

fill until it drips from the filer hole, then replace screw.

But.. Its been mentioned on here before. It's worthwhile checking that the filler plug is not seized before draining the old oil out!

Don't want to be stuck with an oil-less diff!
