Difficultly selecting reverse on manual c220 W205

Mercades C 220 D Sport 2017
Hi Just bought a C Class 2017 D 220. It has a manual gearbox and I'm finding it really difficult to get it in reverse gear?
Used to own a W203 ( currentW205?) and had no problems what so ever.
Can anyone advise please
