Hi everyone.

Now i've dived back into Mercland I spotted this beauty for sale but apparently it used to belong to an embassy and cant be re-registered so its being sold as scrap!!!!

I know its not pristine and could do with a bit of 'colour magic' but id love to buy it.

Does anyone know the procedure of getting it re-registered and can it be done?

I dont understand why it cant be done (as the vendor states) but I dont want to buy if I cant use it!

Any advice would be helpful!

as it used to be diplomatic

we are probably talking payment of car tax and vat that the diplomats didn't have to when they imported it. Check with Revenue and Customs and DVLA before you spend a penny on it

I wonder if it is a car brought in by a diplomat that never met regulations but was allowed under some sort of diplomatic exemption?
