For the last 15 years or so my wife and i have enjoyed the privalige of owning several mercedes benz cars, and at the moment we have a CLK and an A-class. But i have to say that the CLK we have at present although a wonderful carlokks very shabby indeed because of corrosion of the wheel rims. The car is an X reg 2000 Avantgarde which we bought from new and has ony covered 32000 miles and is regularly serviced by the main agent.Afriend of ours has an L registered 3 Series BMW which has covered 200,000miles without a mark on the wheels,Why? I don't accept that 'outside influence' has that much of a part to play and I do think that Mercedes should be accountable for inferior quality wheels,if BMW can do it why not Mercedes.I am not very pleased. What do you think the company should do about it?
