Discoloured chrome (bright work) on a238 (w213) e53

The chrome on my e53 a238 w213 is looking mottled, it was like that when I got it and I assumed poor cleaning but having washed it tonight it still looks that way.

any tips on restoring its proper look?

Chrome trim

Any ideas? Most of the 'chrome' trim around windows is showing signs of 'water' spots, leaving 'milky'stains. I pretty sure the trim is only plastic with some sort of anodised finish, but would like to know a 'safe' way to remove these marks? So far I've tried nothing, and am awaiting the...

It works great. Autosol do a brilliant metal polish and this has the same effect on chrome and chrome plated plastic but is non abrasive and safe to use

I used some of the autosol today and it did a great job, the area on the photo is much better but needs some more attention, the rest of the chrome has come up great.

i did get some on the fabric roof, ay tips on removing from the roof?

I too bought the Autosol chrome plated polish on the back of this thread and I’m amazed, it actually works. I’ve previously tried all kinds of products and nothing else touches it. Great product!
