Disconnect rear handbrake cables R230

Afternoon all

How can I remove the two rear handbrake cables from the central link above the propshaft.

I don't want to brake anything.. it seems like there is a nack to it which I haven't worked out.

Brake is disengaged and I removed the adjusting bolt that goes in from rear end.

You need to disconnect hub side first to get enough slack, then they just lift off the hook.

Booooo... I thought so. So that's what I set about doing.

Those handbrake mechanisms are a PITA
