Display on 1997 C230

Hi there,

I have 3 display screens in the dash of my C230, the one on the left however, does not display anything. is this normal, or is there supposed to be a temperature display or something else here?

The display on the left is indeed for outside temperature display. However on the prefacelift C Class W202 (1993-1997) this was not fitted as standard equipment but was an optional extra. If your car was not fitted with outside temperature measurement then it is normal for this left hand display to be blank.

I believe that the post facelift C Class W202 (1997-2000) models were fitted with outside temperature measurement as standard.
