I fancy having a go at the changing the pads and discs myself. I have been watching a lot of videos to get a good idea.

I have got a jack, stands and wrench. A spanner set and rachet. What size sockets/torx do I need? And any other recommended tools?

Any guidance on good practise from the diy-ers on here?

Thanks

It's a w213 e220d and I'm able to release parking brake for fitting position

I don't know about your car, but when I did pads front & rear on my R Class I needed odd ball 9mm & 11mm sized Allen keys ..... not found in any set anywhere in the World but available off eBay/etc.

Polish the front hubs before fitting new discs . Get a wire drill attachment and some emery cloth . Watch you tube videos . The job itself isn't difficult.
