Having had the bumper and n/s wing resprayed weeks ago, and driven 2 miles home, I washed off those bits and stuck my early '97 Boxster in the garage with a dehumidifier and heater to Ceramic coat it yesterday.
No special kit needed, though the Race Glaze 9H Kit is made easy for amatuers. It took 35 minutes to do, piece of cake really. After 22 hours inside it was booted out at 9am for the 'after' pictures.
It looks glassy smooth and reflective, and will be hard as nails now. Am going to have to wax the bonnet so it doesnt look so dull ! £79.99 for the kit, sufficient to do the whole car and also I think my old Vogue. Admittedly I do know what I am doing, but there is no mystique - its straightforward and rather rewarding.
