Do Headlights require polishing?

Hope all are well. This forum has always helped me with valuable advise, specially in an emergency. A big thank you

As I do a lot of driving, try to make sure that the headlights are as bright as possible. Within legal limits and to avoid any hindrances, to others

Just looked up Amazon and came across a product, to polish headlights. Seem like it had 1000+ reviews. Tempted to have a go but do you think my headlights really require polishing?
Or may be just buffing and a spray?

My daughter just had her Peugeot lights polished by a team that come to the house, came up like new cost £40!

Yes there are lots of kits and mobile guys to do it. It happens as everything is crap plastic crap these days. Glass is too exotic for manufacturers these days.

Yours look ok, the lens look perfect so the top bit may be by design, perhaps a fellow C class owner could comment.

What are the hazy strips on top of the headlight?

Your lights look perfect to me and appear not to require any treatment. The 'shaded' sections are the lens over the sidelights/marker lights (two bulbs in each side and a real sod to change)
