The 'A' pillar to the rear of the rear doors is Maxi ! Bonnet fits nicely too

I remember driving a Landcrab in deep snow, fitted with (illegal) studded tyres, and really enjoying the puzzled looks on the faces of local farmers who were in great difficulties with their swb Landrovers.

Those were the days when you could almost do any mods to your car and get away with it. Our next project was a Shorrocks supercharged A35. No effective brakes, woolly steering and no roadholding, but it went!

Ah that's an old one. Current (2014 onwards) are 2 litre turbos and a very different proposition.

The other half has a 2018 Cooper S and it's on a par with the SL500 for performance and way more economical....
They are an inverse TARDIS though... Absolutely no room inside and not the most comfortable in my experience.

I think what irritates me the most about the BMW 1.5 series, er I mean the Mini, is its trading on a heritage it has no right to. Even down to those stupid union-jack light clusters.

It has to have 4 seats, even if the 2 in the back is small. The options were a BMW 4 Series Convertible or E Class

We already have a very nice 2015 C Class Estate with all the toys so we don't want a large second car.

The Cooper S and JCWs are 4 cylinder 2 litre BMW N20 series engines.
