On my C230 Sport, done 25K miles, when I do a turn I notice a roughness that feels like it could be a wheel bearing, its more pronounced when turning right and the weight is transferred to the left hand side. I know that with the sports suspension, tyres and wheels I have then you can feel a lot of road noise, could it be that? Also when I look at the disc brakes they look fairly scored, not completely smooth, but are very effective. Should they be absolutely free from any ridges or not?
Regards.

I had the sports brakes on my last C320 it is a characteristic of the disk, the way they score. Look at any S320 and you'll see the same thing.

In respest of the noise - what tyres are you running on??

I do not think that you would feel a wheel bearing on cornering, it would have to be very loose

It feels slightly rough, when cornering, i.e. when the load transfers to the outer wheel.

My C class discs never stayed smooth for long. They were always inclined to show ridges but this had no detrimental affect on the braking. The only way to tell if they're really worn is to measure them of course, but who bothers?. FWIW they're cheap and easy to replace.

Sometimes when the pads get changed, the paint is never removed from the edges, this can make the pads stick in their slots as they are too tight to be able to back off

Characteristically, a faulty wheel bearing tends to make a loud rumbling sound which tends to become more pronounced at increased speed. When negotiating bends on the road that tend to throw the weight of the vehicle onto the other side can relieve this symptom momentarily. Try jacking the vehicle up and comparing both front wheels for spin and lateral freeplay. Do this by grabbing hold of the wheel top and bottom and try to rock the wheel against the bearing. There should be no lateral movement in the wheel and this would indicate that the bearing requires renewal. good luck
