Hi there,
My son bought a 2018 E Class 220d coupe today. We're based in London, so it's a UK spec car. He's plugged his iPhone in expecting CarPlay to appear, but it doesn't.
I've asked him for the VIN number, and just checked on a couple of VIN decoder sites. I can't see Apple CarPlay or Android Auto listed when I put in the VIN number.
Question: Is CarPlay standard on these cars, or could the previous owner simply not have specced CarPlay when they built the order?
Looking at the VIN decoded information, here are some things which I think might be related to CarPlay:

What do you all think? How can he get CarPlay working on this car.
