I've just got my first Mercedes, so please bear with me...

It's a 1998 C180 Elegance, and has an Audio10 RDS radio fitted with changer in the boot.

I was driving the car today (for the first time) and I thought the radio volume may have increased as the car reached higher speeds.

Is this possible??

I can't see any mention of this sort of functionality in the handbook (but I know it's a feature of other systems in other cars).

2005 C270CDi Avantgarde Estate. Bought 2005, sold 2022.
My 2005 C Class certainly does (as do pretty well all cars these days) but I've no idea how to set it - even if it's in the handbook I've never got around to looking. It also comes on quite loud when the car is started.
It's one of those things I'll look at when I've got nothing more important to do!

You can go into the menu and turn the function off, or change the levels.

So from this I surmise it has got this function??

I'll have a better look at the unit and it's manual tomorrow.

I'm on a pretty steep learning curve here, and appreciate your comments.

An MB is the only car where you do need the books, I used to keep them in the lou, when first aquired, the only place place where I could hide/read for 10min's
