I am working through a couple of small jobs on my otherwise pretty mint 2017 c250. The final two remaining will.need both passenger and driver door card removal:
- passenger speaker grill dented and not fixable with picks (I've tried)
- boot control button on drivers door seems to have broken on one side.. it works but isn't sitting right and connection is flakey unless pushed hard

So...is there much risk is removing the inner door lining front and back? I've seen the guides...I am thinking more along lines of clip snapping and risk of introducing rattles. People seem to do it alot but was keen to hear thoughts.

Cheers

Get some decent trim removal tools, they’re not expensive and really do a great job in popping out challenging fixings without damage

Cheers..I do have a set! Done a couple before but was thinking i could live with the issues if high risk of breaking something..the lining feels super solid and fixed vs my previous Fiat and mazda...hence my concern!

Seems like it's an OK job then, cheers

If you have done it before you will be fine, you know the gen principles, dont tug too hard, take your time, and better done when its warm as less chance of plastic clipsn breaking.
Even if uou do break some clips, with such a new car you will easily get replacements from MB.
wrt to noise, MB are great wrt no rattles, if something rattles after, then something has not been put back right, so take your time.

Thanks @mioba . I'll give it a go. It'd only the inner lining, not the plastic part bolted to the door, so should be OK. Good tip on the warmer weather idea.

Thought I could live with the slight issues but my old getting better of me haha
