The RHS door miror indicator lens on my E270(211) has a crack in it ,i have bought the lens ,but how do you replace it.I have taken the glass out but can not get acces to the 2 screws any help please.Thank you

Fold the mirror and in the end there is a square hole on the outside curved edge part of the casing,,depress the catch in the hole and the casing slides off

Roger,
I had to get my mirror off on the weekend.
Mine is a C class, but the mirrors look the same
Basically what you have to do is:
1. fold the mirror in.
2. you can then see a square hole towards the outside edge of the cover.
3. through this hole you can just see a silver plate (approx 1 - 2 inches in) this needs to be pushed in towards the window. (I used a flat blade screwdriver)
I had to try a few times, in the end all it needed was a bit of a sharp knock on the cover and the whole cover came off.
Youll then be able to see the clips and 2 philips screws holding on the lens.
