Door mirrors

I have a C-class Mercedes "51" plate and need a new drivers side door mirror not the complete unit. I have just been quoted £300 just for the glass because it has some sort of gel, is there anywhere I can get a cheaper one with no gel. I live in the Ormskirk, West lancs area

Hi charlie, just go to Halfords or motor factor and get a stick on one for £10 the heater will still work but it will not dim

go to mercedes and but a standard glass for a 203 about £30, you dont need to replace a antiglare mirror with the same, fitted a few standard mirror glasses to a antiglare frame!!!

I got an auto dim glass for a facelift E class 210 for less than £200 from ECP, 203 will be a similar price, still expensive i know but it is better than £300.
As previously said keep an eye on e-bay as they do come up quite often but be prepared to pay the best part of a £100 even for a 2nd hand one.

Still amazed at how much they are I will try ebay
