The interior trim in my 2001 CLK is damaged so i bought a replacement piece but am having trouble removing the old one.

I tried to ease it out but the leather is starting to get damaged and the whole area seems to want to come out (not just the 'wood' surround to the electric seat button)!

Does anyone know the best way to remove this? Looking at the replacement part there are some bits that look like they would have been 'clicked' into place firmly...

If I had your Email address I could send you the paper on how to do it for a 208
