there is a rattle in front drivers door just behind the leather door panel
as there is a airbag there im pretty sure its the airbag cover behind the leather thats causing the rattle
i dont want to force and break anything but i cant see any screws to undo to take panel off
does the fake carbon fibre trim at top of door just unclip
got to get it sorted cos rattle is driving me nuts
any help would be appreciated
i have seen the diy guide on this site for a 1994 c180 door trim guide but my trim is nothing like that
any help would be appreciated
thx

You will have to undo the screws behind covers 36 and 28. also unscrew the little cover by the lock , then its held on by pop clips all the way around.

The rattle could be a loose window regulator.

There is a screw under the SRS badge,
one by the door catch and remove plastic cover.
The outer part of the grab handle has to be removed it has a screw under it, this cover can be a bit of a pig to remove.
Then the rest is plastic poppers securing the actual panel to the door, once the panel has been removed it will be still be fixed to the door via the door handle control cable, simply unhook the cable.
